version history in Google Doc

Hi, The “time stamps” in a Google worksheet Version history, does it show the time that the LAST change was made? My manager has checked the Version history to investigate my working hours, and counted the time from the first to the last “time stamp” i.e. the times that you can see in the Version history. But as far as I can understand, the time stamp seems to communicate the time that the last change was made? So it would not be a correct way to count working hours would it? If the “first” time stamp (with a number of changes made) is 9 o clock and the last time stamp is 12, you might have worked BEFORE 9 o clock as well but that does not show does it?

@Elisabeth I’ve never vetted version history for the purpose of a billing audit but you can also click the black arrow and it will rotate to more granularity on the revisions that are stored. See if that helps. -KAM
