Hello everyone, my name is Philip and I work at a non-commercial, non-profit mission’s organization that produces a gospel film that is used around the globe. We do not sell the film but would like to use Veo 3 for B-Roll footage. Hopefully I’m in the right spot to ask some of these questions…
Primarily I’m here to ask some specific questions regarding APIs, and third-party platforms using Veo 3.
So, my first question is:
- I know Veo 3 image to video is still Pre-GA and not GA yet but Veo 3 text to video is GA now on Vertex AI. As far as third-party platforms like “Krea.ai” and Flow (Google Labs) go they let you utilize the text to video and image to video feature while krea.ai’s site says I have commercial rights… Is that true? I’m guessing they are using the same API for Veo 3 from Vertex AI? So do the same rules apply on a different platform, text to video still being (GA) right now and image to video still (Pre-GA).
- So, if technically, Veo 3 image to video is still Pre-GA and not GA. Yet Krea.ai lets me utilize the image to video feature and their own website says for anything created with Veo 3 is yours. Do their “commercial rights” override googles or how does that work as far as the agreement between the two companies?
- When google announces something as GA and no longer Pre-GA do the third-party platforms apply or only ones they list such as the recent case with Veo 3 on Vertex AI having GA rights? Example: Veo 3 text to video on Krea.ai also having the same rights now for GA as Vertex AIs Veo 3
- Can APIs have access to and create invisible SynthID watermarks for Veo 3 videos created on their site just like Google does with Vertex AI?
I hope this all makes sense and someone can point me in the right direction with these questions. Thank you!
