Unable to view PDF file in appsheet(gettablefileurl)

Hi everyone, I am having a particular issue with appsheet in viewing the PDF files.

I have set relative pathing in the google sheets in a column which links to a Google Drive folder inside the appsheet folder.

Example: Purchase Order/Invoice/INV_0001.pdf

The issue now is I can’t view the file in appsheet. It will give me a blank page instead. Here is a screenshot of it.

I have disabled the option to Secure PDF access and Secure Image access. But doesn’t seem to work.

Hi @Rexatron

The options here a for security purpose, so that anyone getting the URL link won’t see the document unless being a part of the app users.

No need to worry about that.

Can you check that, in your Drive folder:

  • the relative path is correct ?

  • the PDF opens when you click on it ?

  • the Sheets is located at the same place than the folder, in the default app folder ?

The relative path you are describing attracts my attention. Normally you would have a folder like:

INVOICE_Files_/yourfile.pdf

The default app folder can be found here in Info> Properties > App Properties
