unable to save the ref value to the sheet

The question is straightforward.

Patient_id value is referred in another sheet as ref data type. While adding data in another sheet, patient_id is visible in the form, but it did not save in the sheet after submit.

What is the prob and how to correct this?

It sounds the column’s type in your data source doesn’t match. Check first it’s using something else than “automatic”.
