If you are trying to add or update data in a public sample app, it shows this warning message.
Please check that your app is not set as a sample. Turn off both “Make this a public sample?” and “Make this a team sample?”
You can find the above steps from Manage > Collaborate and Publish > Team Work > “Make this a public sample?” and “Make this a team sample?”

Is this an app in your My Apps page, or a template (sample) app from elsewhere? If a template app, you’ll need to add it to your My Apps page by making a copy of it. That copy will then allow you to add rows.
