We’re trying to add the following role to a service account: Document AI API User.
However, none of the document AI options show up in the role selection box. I’ve looked around online but I can’t find the cause for this. Any ideas as to why this is happening? The person who was trying to add the permission was able to add other permissions normally and the api for document AI is enabled and in use. Image related.

I understand that you’re having challenges granting Document AI access to your service account, one possibility is the selected project, it should be the one where your Document AI resides. Kindly review these basic role guidelines.
Basic roles can only be granted for an entire project, not for individual buckets within the project. Like other roles that you grant for a project, basic roles apply to all buckets and objects in the project.

I am running into a similar issue. I created a custom role for Document AI project. But when I try to add the role to a service account, I don’t see that role listed. And I double checked that the role exists and I am in the right project. I am the owner of the project so I should be able to grant any role, principal any access.
Can you please point me in the right direction? I might be missing something.
