Hi,
I want to display a table with several metrics in different columns. Alongside these I want to display 3 Dimensions. How can I display a total for each metric column within the table? I can see pivot tables allow “Totals” to be shown but it only allows 2 Dimensions. I can’t see any “Totals” option for just regular tables is there such a function?
@Beginner
To do so, go the “Number of rows” section of the setup tab and turn on “Show summary row”.
I hope it helps.
Mehdi
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and reply.
However for my Table, I cannot see this option.
Very strange behavior @Beginner
Could you screenshot all the setup tab configuration please. I will try to reproduce the problem. Is the table fed by a specific data source or metric field that could provide unusual restrictions about aggregations, so total calculation?
Otherwise, you should try to create the table from the beginning.
Hi @Mehdi_Oudjida
Thanks. I tried switching the table to a bar chart and then back to a table, and now the option IS appearing. As you say, very strange. But thanks for your help.

Now I found the exact reason why.
When Metric Sliders are Off, you can select “Show Summary Rows”
When “Metric Sliders” are on, the Show Summary Row option disappears.
