It seems that Appsheet is focused on mobile and slate devices that don’t necessarily require printed reports. I am developing several apps for our non-profit and have significant need for printed reports as virtually all use is from laptops. To have to pre-code those sets of data and anticipate every filter and sub-set that users might want is impossible.
I have a handful of automations that output PDFs that I’ve created for some standard reporting but they are not flexible from the user’s standpoint. I have experimented with user input and flagging records from that input but that’s a huge workaround that should not be necessary.
Has Appsheet considered allowing quick prints of filtered data on table views? I know I can do screen shots and save those images to a doc, but most of our users are not that sophisticated to be able to manage that.
