We would like to update our “spec” via the apigee managment api and also update our generated portal site, but couldn’t find a way to do it.
Are they managment API calls for this scenario?

https://github.com/apigeecs/smartdocs_service provides the basic connectors to allow you to update the Developer Portal site as part of a CI/CD workflow. It exposes functionality to allow updates to be made to the SmartDocs via REST endpoints.
Also keep an eye on https://github.com/apigee/apigee-config-maven-plugin as we are hoping to roll out functionality to allow automated updates of smartdocs via maven.
