I have a question and cannot get to get through to talk to someone on sales.

I have a project that I have 20TB of data I want to store in an Archival Cloud storage bucket tier, I need to upload those 20TB to this bucket and need to know if I am charged on operations when uploading data to this bucket, this will be done through an API most likely to ensure all the data is correctly uploaded and not fail on an internet issue.

The average file size would be about 3 MB per file so about 13333 - 20000 files.

I understand the per GB cost and ingress is free on network traffic but not to clear on the operations, is there another way to upload this data, my region I am based is South Africa, so cannot ship them a HDD.

Would love any insight.

You will pay for a class A operation for every object that you write. If you are writing it to Archive Storage Class, the price of class A operations is $0.05 per 1000 operations. So uploading 20 thousand files should cost $1 US in operation fees.
