Hi, I’m deveoping an expeses app to a friend.
May I have acces to the app but not the data base?
For example, I share the app and the data base to another Google Drive account, but I need to keep acces to the app in order to make updates and upgrades.
it’s that Possible?

If the app is shared to you as “Edit definition” you are then able to modify the app as a co-author.

The app and database should be owned by your friend and only the app shared with you.
The app owner doesn’t need to share the data source and then you won’t have access to it directly. Only the app needs to be shared.
It’s worth noting that refusing to share the data source may not be the privacy win one expects. The developer of the app has access to all data available to the app even if they don’t have direct access to the data source directly.
