Hi everyone,
I’ve identified a very serious privacy issue when using a report template copied from a private community. After copying this template and connecting it to my own data sources, I noticed that other users’ reports who also copied the same template started appearing on my main Looker Studio page. In other words, without any access or authorization, I gained visibility into reports belonging to other people, which represents a huge privacy and security risk.
Other people have also reported the same issue. In fact, I can currently see in my account reports with data and titles from completely unknown users, which confirms that this bug is spreading among everyone who copied the same template.
I believe this requires investigation and an urgent fix.
Thanks in advance for your attention!

Same issue here, opened another ticket to gain traction and momentum. Interesting that it comes from templates, seems true in most cases but not only, I also see random reports popping in my feed

This is indeed a serious privacy issue that is affecting many users. It’s concerning to see reports from different accounts randomly appearing in other people’s dashboards, even without any interaction. I hadn’t noticed that reports beyond templates were also being affected, which makes the situation even more critical.
I have also reported this issue on Google’s Issue Tracker, but so far, I haven’t received any response from the Google Cloud support team. The problem keeps getting worse each day, with more unauthorized reports appearing and sensitive data being exposed. We need to keep pushing for this to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
Finally Google acknowledged the bug and you can follow updates here: Google Issue Tracker
