I’m seeking advice for a critical issue on a new project where I am completely blocked. I have exhausted all self-troubleshooting and the automated support system is preventing me from filing a case. I’m hoping someone here might have seen this before or can offer a suggestion.
Here is a summary of the problem:
My Project Number is (PII Removed by Staff). My goal is to use the Gemini 1.5 Pro model from a Google Apps Script web app. The core issue is that the project appears to have zero Vertex AI models available. Direct API calls to list models return an empty list ({}) with a 200 OK status, or a 404 Not Found error for specific endpoints. Furthermore, the Google Cloud Console UI is missing the documented options to register or deploy pre-trained models.
The main blocker is that I am in an administrative loop. The support console blocks me from creating any tickets (both Billing and Technical), even after fully activating my billing account from the free trial. I am completely unable to contact Google about this service provisioning issue.
My questions for the community are:
Has anyone ever experienced a new, fully billed project having no Vertex AI models provisioned?
Is there a known propagation delay (longer than 48 hours) for models to appear after activation?
Is there any other channel to reach Google Support when the main console is blocking all case creation?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I have the full chronological details of all tests performed if needed.
