Is there a way to run the content validator only on selected folders? Or, to exclude certain folders from being checked by the content validator? Such as personal folders.
That would be very useful as it would reduce the noise of the content validator and make it easier to use. I’ve been looking but I can’t find a way to do it.
Yes! As of Looker 25.0, this is possible using the Labs feature, Content Validator Scoping. The feature allows developers to scope a Content Validator job to a specific content folder and specific LookML projects.
In Looker 25.4, the Labs feature will go GA, so you won’t see the Labs feature in the Labs menu, but the feature will be enabled automatically.
