Request for model metadata and regional availability via API

Hello,

We are currently exploring ways to retrieve model metadata automatically, including supported regions.

At the moment, using ModelGardenServiceClient, we can retrieve publisher model IDs for providers such as Google, Anthropic, and Mistral. However, the PublisherModel response does not seem to include:

  • Supported serving regions/locations
  • Whether a model is serverless (MaaS) or self-deployable
  • An API equivalent of the per-model regional availability shown in the Vertex AI Data Residency here

Is there a way to retrieve this type of information programmatically, similar to what is currently available on the website?
