Is there a way we can use ReactJs as an custom UI for our developer Portal in the Apigee New Edge.

You could do that, but it would be a custom developer portal. Probably not Drupal, probably not leveraging the Drupal modules for Apigee.

Really there are three options for developer portal:

  • what we call “The Integrated Developer Portal”. It’s a Saas portal, style-it-yourself. Limited customizability.
  • The Drupal developer portal. Host this yourself, or pay someone (Acquia? Pantheon?) to host it for you. Customize to the hilt.
  • Completely custom, D-I-Y. If you already have a portal or want to write your own, lean on the Apigee Admin APIs to connect your dev portal to the Apigee management plane, to provision and update developers, apps, list API products, render documentation, and so on.
