I am new in Appsheet and wanting to learn more about it because of its potential.
I created an App which has helped me a lot although I need to make some change to make it more efficient.
What I want is that the moment I click on the plus button, that the app will show the scanner right away without me tapping on the qr code icon in the MACHINE QR CODE section.
Is this possible?
Yes, in your app settings there is an option on Form Views to “Advance form automatically”. This option automatically advances to required fields, If the field requires any pop-ups for input - such as a dropdown list - that pop-up will automatically show.
In your case when the scanning field is FIRST and set as required and you have “Auto-advance” turned on…the scanning window will automatically show when you open the form view.
NOTE: This setting affects ALL Form views - i.e. they will all auto-advance when appropriate.
