I’m working on a bot and trying to understand the different ways to publish it on the Google Workspace Marketplace both Publically and Privately — specifically:

As a Google Workspace Add-on

As a standalone Google Chat app
I’m a bit confused about how these two publishing paths differ and what’s required for each, especially when it comes to public vs private publishing.
If anyone’s published both a Workspace Add-on and a standalone Chat app before, I’d love to hear:

Whether you used one project or multiple

If you combined them into one Marketplace listing

Any gotchas during review
