Project: External app, publishing status “In production”, sensitive scope requested (calendar.events).
The problem:
In the OAuth Verification Center, “Data access status” shows not verified, and “Prepare for verification” is disabled with: “You need to verify and publish your branding before you can request for verification.”
But the Branding page has no “Verify Branding” button anywhere — even though all required fields are complete and saved:
- App name: StrobeDesk
- Support email: set
- Logo: uploaded
- Homepage, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service: all live on the same verified domain
- Authorized domain: (URL Removed by Staff) — verified as a Domain property in Google Search Console under the same account that owns the project
- Developer contact email: set
- Save/Discard buttons are both greyed out, confirming no pending changes
Tried: hard refresh, checking both console.cloud.google.com and console.developers.google.com, re-uploading the logo. No “Verify Branding” or “Publish branding” button appears anywhere on the Branding page.
This matches other confirmed reports of the same bug:
- Verification Center: "Prepare for verification" permanently disabled — Branding page has no "Verify Branding" button
- Stuck in Branding Verification Loop
Ask: could someone from the OAuth verification / Trust & Safety team check the branding state for this project and either trigger the review manually or advise what unblocks the “Verify Branding” button? Happy to provide the project number/ID via a follow-up if needed (avoiding posting it in the open topic).
