Hello Google Flow Team,
As a professional portrait creator, the deprecation of Imagen 4 has severely damaged my workflow.
- Lack of Consistency: When generating 4 variations, Imagen 4 used to deliver high-fidelity, highly consistent results that matched my requirements perfectly. However, the new Nano Banana model suffers from heavy “semantic drift”—the facial features vary wildly across the 4 grids, often producing entirely different people.
- Artificial Texture: Nano Banana’s portraits lack skin texture (pores, natural lighting) and look overly plastic/illustration-like compared to Imagen 4’s photorealism.
Please either consider redeploying Imagen 4 as an advanced option or immediately fix the consistency and texture weights of the Nano Banana Pro engine for portrait generation. Thank you.
