Pdf file is not saved

Hello!

I’ve created a form in appsheet to collect data and I used “Automation” (appsheet), in order to convert in .pdf file these data when they are saved, but it seems it doesn’t work; I don’t find the .pdf file on My Drive. And I don’t even receive an error message.

I am new in appsheet, why the file is not saved?

Share your bot’s config. We can’t know what we don’t see

Could you tell me what configuration do you need to know? It’s a bot for the company when I work and I can’t share data.

As a remark, I used a tutorial in order to create this bot, as I saw. So, I’ve created a bot-event-process-task and set cretae file- pdf. It’s not clear for me where the Default option save the file. I even tried using an expression “name of folder”, but it didn’t work.

I suggest you to go to the docs before you keep doing changes like this in order to make sure you are aware of what each part of automation can do so you could troubleshoot.

Hello! I followed the steps as they were described, my only doubts are about “File Store” and “File Folder Path”. I used Default, but it’s not clear for me which is the folder on my drive where the file should be stored. Unfortunately, I deleted some folders in my appsheet folder, because I created several applications as a test and I made this mystake, by cleaning up the folder :(…

Hello again!

I’ve made another test with a new application and simple one, and the pdf is created, but I used only text field; in my original application, I have also a “signature field”, so, images. Could be this the problem? Should I make something special in this case?

I suggest you to remove those columns and test on your current app

Well, meanwhile, I added a new field in the new app used as test, a field signature, and the pdf was created, but without signature. But I saw this morning, I have 2 pdf files created for my work application, in the new folder I indicated in the bot, but I don’t know how they were created, because if I make a new record and click on save button, nothing happens from point of view of pdf file.
