How can i get a second page to filter off the the first page criteria. Meaning if I have tables showing sales by client. if i click on one in the first page the charts on the second page filter by that client.
Cross filtering (filtering other tables/charts by clicking on a table/chart) only works when those elements are on the same page. If you want to be able to filter charts across pages, maybe create a control (âAdd a control > Drop down listâ) based on your âclientsâ field, then right click the control to make the control a âreport level controlâ, meaning that it will apply to all pages and therefore on charts on different pages.
There is a catch though in that its only a choice between applying the control to one page, or the entire report. You cannot apply to only a few pages in the report.
