I have a problem with the sorting of a view, I don’t understand why the data is not sorted. In the video I tried to sort according to the virtual column “CATEGORY ORDER”.
In the video you can see how a number of people belonging to the 1-juniors category are located further down. Why? People are grouped into categories and I want to sort these groupings, but I just can’t.
This has been a long standing issue for years for which there is a Feature Idea. It’s not anything you have done wrong.
The ONLY way you will be able to get the Group Headers to sort in the order you wish is to insert, into the Grouping Name itself, a leading character or number to force the sort order. Not ideal nor user friendly but is the only way to make it happen.

That is weird. It does seem everything is ok in the view configuration.
I see immediately after saving your app changes and the associated Sync completes, you landed on that view - it was the view you were on before the Editor Save. I have seen some strange things happen this way when the view started after the Sync had been changed.
I think it might be that there is some navigation dependencies that need to be re-applied after the Editor Save. Usually, I will simply go back to the top level or re-click the view button and everything is fine. Try that and if there is still a problem then a bug needs to be opened to AppSheet.
