My OAuth consent screen (app name “LAS OS”, project:297927132676 ) is stuck on repeated instant rejection with these two issues, unchanged across multiple resubmissions over several days:
- “Your homepage does not explain the purpose of your app.”
- “The app name ‘LAS OS’ configured for your OAuth consent screen does not match the app name on your homepage.”
What I’ve verified, each time re-confirmed live before resubmitting:
- Homepage (https://centrumlas.net/) title, H1, og:title and twitter:title all say exactly “LAS OS”, matching the OAuth consent screen App name field exactly.
- Homepage explicitly explains the app’s purpose and, specifically, why it requests the Google Ads scope it has configured (
.../auth/adwords) - what data is read/written and why. - Verified with curl using multiple user-agents including a Googlebot UA - identical, correct content every time, HTTP 200, no redirects on the exact configured homepage URL.
- Domain (centrumlas.net) is registered directly through Cloudflare Registrar and verified in my own Cloudflare account - Security Analytics shows 0% mitigated traffic, no blocked/challenged requests, ruling out any bot-protection interference.
- Privacy policy and Terms of Service links both resolve correctly on the same domain.
- Rejection arrives near-instantly after each resubmission (under a few minutes), suggesting an automated check rather than manual review.
The Verification Center status also says to “reply to your email thread with the Trust and Safety team” - but I have never received any such email (checked inbox, spam, promotions on the developer contact address, which is a Gmail address with no deliverability issues). Could someone from the team manually re-check the current live homepage, or let me know how to actually reach Trust & Safety given no email has arrived?
