My app is a bit large but now its broken so I am not sure what to do. This morning it was syncing fine, about 30 seconds or so. I added a slice and then an action to export the current view. After I did that it was fine and everything worked. I tried to refresh one more time and got the error of “out of memory”. I have deleted the action, views and tables that I added but it is till stuck on syncing the app at about 70 percent. I also recovered the app to a known working condition and its still stuck on synching at about 70 percent. Any more things I should try?
How many rows and tables?
If you received an out of memory message, that is something that comes from the device so the first thing you will want to do is make sure you free up memory.
If there were edits in flight when the error happened, they may be in a stuck state. AppSheet provides options to either try to recover the edits for manual updates or reset/remove the edits to try again. See if you have any of the menu options in the side Menu as shown in the image below.

I dont have that but im working with google right now but they said something that is puzzling me. They said that even if I restore an old version it is still trying to sync the bad data and a restore wont work. I dont know if that is correct but that is contrary to every software version restore that ive used in the past.
That is true, depending on what code changes are in the versions - i.e. if the bad data is still considered bad or not. The data is independent of the app definition.
Of course, it sounds like there is an assumption that there is data changes pending but you said there were no “Reset changes” menu options which implies to me the app doesn’t think there are any pending changes to submit.
I assume you have tried looking for an error in the Audit Log?

I got it late last night, it seems I had some bad code that was causing the results to be in the 300,000,000 and it could not calculate it. Weird thing is that code had been in the app for some time and just kicked in for some reason.
