I am trying for the longest to purchase a Looker Studio Pro subscription for my organization but I am not able to. In most cases I am facing Server Errors and “Subscription failed - We faced an unexpected error while subscribing”.
The UX seems confusing as well - if someone can help out so I can purchase it that would be great.
For anyone else who got here by Googling the error. I received this error when trying to add users to Looker Studio Pro using the UI in GCP. It let me purchase the licenses, just not assign them.
I got around this error by going to lookerstudio.google.com > Click on Enterprise Admin > Pro subscription > Add subscription
It should list the GCP projects that have pro licenses purchased for them. Click on the little person + icon (Manage Subscription). Add the people you want to assign Looker Studio Pro to there.
