nodepool VM’s got shut down and got the below error.
“This instance does not have an external IP and you don’t have the iap.tunnelInstances.accessViaIAP permission”.
May I know how to resolve it

Hello @IbraMohammad ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.
it means that there is no External IP associated with your VMs pool, which cause issues with connections. What you have to do is :
- Configure IAP for GKE: https://cloud.google.com/iap/docs/enabling-kubernetes-howto
or for GCE: https://cloud.google.com/iap/docs/enabling-compute-howto
- Grant role to your principal which contain mentioned permissions :

Hi @DamianS , Actually I created the cluster and pods and those were running till before last week but since last week Node pool is showing as shut down and earlier it was active.
May I know why it is showing in active.
