When reading an NFC tag or card, I set the data field type to text. It works well and scans in the NDEF data from tags and cards.
What we have found is people typing in codes rather than reading from the NFC tag. Is there a way to restrict the NFC enabled field to only accept data when reading a TAG and not allow text to be written in by the keyboard utility.

I’ve managed this behaviour for qr codes scans in the past,but don’t remember how.
In the NFC column “other properties” , check and try NFC scannable .
That is perfect, the input over ride is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
