I just discovered a new feature. There is a new option in a table’s properties in GDocs, called “Pin header row(s)”.
This apparently works with GDoc attachment templates with Appsheet Bots, allowing the table headers to be automatically repeated on subsequent pages when the generated rows are too many for one page. Here’s a quick and dirty example.

Thanks for sharing this Marc. It is a very useful feature and was being demanded for a long time. It will facilitate easier creation of reports where data in a tabular format extends beyond a single page.

I too noticed this, but I found it by accident when I noticed a floating bar show up when I hovered over a cell. But it’s gone now! It used to be found here.
And the table properties you show above, they’re not showing either, for me. 
You can right click in the row and then click on “Pin header row”.
