SHOULD I INVEST ANY MORE TIME IN BUILDING AGENTIC SOLUTIONS AND WORKFLOWS IN CLOUD OR VERTEX?!
So I’ve been building on Google Cloud and Vertex for a couple weeks, but I took a break after losing a lot of work, just got back on last week and having many issues still. I’ve gotten a big contract(for me starting up at least) for my second job. Now with all of these issue with Gemini app(where I test engineering prompts, prompt structure, order, etc. freezing constantly still after weeks and memory glitches), within AI builder(where I’ve gotten some basic chatbots going, and I lost access to that too) and Workspace(glitching out, freezing) have me extremely worried. I’ve lost days of work already from freezes, and the first time I could not recover the information no matter what I tried.
I really need some insight because the launch date is within a month! I’ve been experimenting, learning, building, and preparing to build 5 custom AI agents involving chats, pic/video, variations, translator audio/text, and almost all on different individual launch platforms and endpoints. I can make $10k, which would set me alright for awhile. but after all this time invested, wasted trial credits, and lost days of work, should I trust this platform to improve enough, are there methods that have a stability I am unware of since I am pretty fresh(previously built on botdojo), I dont know much, so any advice/guidance would be great! i have a 4 week window so i still time, but if I need to swap platforms and approaches in build methodology and platform, I need to pull the trigger NOW so I can adjust to a new system, learn differences, platform requirements, etc. Thanks for reading
