@CaptainEon It would help yes to report it through official chains to help push this preview along.
There have been alot of cases where the browser or app breadcrumbs are lost and don’t allow correct navigating backwards to previously known positions or pages. @Jose_Arteaga
They are aware however don’t seem to be able to commit to anything right now. I wish I could share better news, but even the team leads are silent and unreachable by the members of community. We are told to reach out and ask what’s happening in upcoming features but the channel to reach out is disabled . @cschalk_ws
I’m reporting a bug related to the New Mobile Framework that has been confirmed as reproducible by another community member.
Setup:
Table view (Oggi) based on a Slice of the Assistenze table, embedded inside a Dashboard view
Multiple actions configured as “Display prominently” with condition set to TRUE
All actions correctly listed and enabled in the Slice settings
The problem:
Bulk actions work perfectly in desktop mode. On Android mobile, after selecting rows via long press, the checkboxes appear correctly but NO action buttons appear anywhere — not at the bottom, not in the upper-right corner, not in the 3-dot menu.
Additional findings:
Bulk actions in Dashboard views were historically never officially supported
With the New Mobile Framework, row selection via long press is now possible inside Dashboard views, but the action buttons never appear
This is likely either an unintended behavior that crept into the implementation, or an incomplete feature
Disabling the New Mobile Framework removes even the row selection capability
The really strange part:
In the AppSheet editor preview, BEFORE saving, the bulk action buttons appear correctly. As soon as the app is saved and redeployed, they disappear on mobile.
What I’ve tried:
Setting all action conditions to TRUE
Removing Security Filters
Setting Row Selected to Empty Action
Manual sync on device
Disabling/enabling New Mobile Framework
Is there any plan to officially support bulk actions in Dashboard views on mobile? And is there a recommended workaround in the meantime?
