New column in the database did not show

Hello

I have added a new column in the Excel datasheet and did the regenerate structure but still the new field will not show. What did i miss?

yes it does

Please confirm that the app is connected to the spreadsheet you’re changing. In the app editor, go to Data >> Tables, to the affected table, and click on View Source.

Hello and thanks for your help. yes i checked and it is connected to the spreadsheet. the thing is i can see the new field in the column area but i dont see it in the area where you fill the information

Hello @Madhounsa, that could happen for several reasons:

  • The column is set as hidden.
  • If you’re using a view for a slice, the column might not be included in the slice.
  • If you’re using a custom column order in that view, the column might not be present there, so it won’t show.

  • Unhide the column.

    OR

  • Add the column to the slice.

    OR

  • Add the column to the view.
