My VM INSTANCES disappeared

All my vm instances have dissappeared, from compute engine, anybody else facing similar problems ??

A couple of thoughts.

  1. Check that you are in the correct Google Cloud project. I have accidentally been in a different project and head scratched that all my resources weren’t as expected until.

  2. Do a full browser refresh (SHIFT+F4) and see if something is cached and needs cleared.

  3. If somehow the Compute Engines are gone, look through the Cloud Audit logs in Cloud Logging and see what the last messages are in the logs relating to Compute Engines. Cloud Logging logs can’t be deleted and all changes to Compute Engines are always logged there giving us an audit trail of what happened and when.
