I created a server with Google Cloud Wordpress Development tools on last year and used it until last month.
I tried to open the website yesterday, but it didn’t work.
So that, I login and check the VM instance.
However, Google Cloud shows that the VM service needs to be enabled.
therefore, I am enable the VM service again.
But my server didn’t exist there.
Also, I click go to my VM instance link on development manger screen that show me this picture
If you look at the end of this picture, I clearly have a record of running the server.
But next line show I am enable VM service again.
I don’t know where the server I was using disappeared.
I do not find a place to inquire for my situation, so I hope that it will be resolved quickly by leaving a message here. ( I couldn’t find an inquiry for my situation, so I have already sent the feedback part and sent a sales service inquiry. )
Hi,
Check billings. Maybe free trial has just ended and GC deleted your instance ?
best,
DamianS
I paid until last month and have been using it for over a year already.
According to the documentation, the free trial only supports 90 days.
So, I don’t think it is free trial problem
Hello Plot
The reason why DamianS is mentioning the free trial is because the scenario you’re explaining in your question matches the conditions of a Free Trial deletion after more than 30 days just like you specified and, the only real way to validate why your instance (VM) was deleted is to create a GCP Support Case here. Please take a look into this Stack Overflow post as reference.
Another important thing to be aware of is that once a resource, in this case an instance, is deleted, the only way to restore comes from a backup (Disaster Recovery). If there is no backup (commonly a snapshot) it’s impossible to restore it.
