Meet Darshan Hiranandani : How to gain access to API for personal use

Hey everyone,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani, I’m new to using the Google API and I’m encountering a few hurdles. I’m trying to pull my Google Calendar info to integrate it with Trello for personal use, but I’m facing a couple of issues:
When I try to set up consent for the API, I keep getting an error message after clicking submit. I read somewhere that connecting a project to Firebase might solve this. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and why does Firebase come into play here?

I selected the calendar/auth scope for OAuth, but now it’s asking for app verification. This seems like an extra step compared to what I’ve seen in tutorial videos. Is this a new requirement from Google, or am I missing something?

Have any of you successfully integrated Google Calendar with another service recently? If so, could you share any workarounds or tips? I’d appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to navigate these issues.

Regards

Hi I was able to do it by following these steps

Although I encountered issues when I tried to do something else from the primary google calendar. When that happened, I followed the CLI option switch. Marked at the end of the page
