Is there a known issue with declaring the default value for a parameter in an Input Box?
I was expecting the default value under Control field to populate in the Input Box and override the default value of the parameter for various charts, but this doesn’t seem to happen.

I’ve always had the same issue with parameters.
It’s the main reason that I avoid using them.
Given the seeming lack of “official” response from Looker, I assume there’s no plan to fix this in the foreseeable future…
Can you not set the default value in the settings for the parameter itself, or am I missing something?
I am sure that works for some/many people
However, in my use case, I need to set the default value at the page level, not the report level
And so it’s troublesome that the default value field exists in the control field setup but simply doesn’t work
