Our team is currently exploring Looker Studio for our data visualization and reporting needs, and we are particularly interested in the features and pricing of Looker Studio Pro. To help us better understand if this is the right solution for us, we have a few questions:

  1. If our organization subscribes to Looker Studio Pro for our internal report creators and editors, what level of access and licensing is required for our external clients who only need to view and interact with the dashboards we share with them? Can clients with free Looker Studio accounts or those without a Google account still view these reports, and are there any limitations to their viewing experience?

  2. What counts as a project and a user?

  1. Yes they can view and there is no limitation on their ends (in view mode)

  2. A user is a google account. Licence is tied to specific cloud project but it deosnt really matter where data sits ( can be in another bQ project) and as long as a certain user ( google workspace account) is creating or editing the dashboard he can use Pro features. The billing will be charged in a specific GCP project.
