As an app editor, you can now visualize your app data using Data Studio (currently in Preview). Previously, only app creators were able to use this feature. See Manage app permissions for individual users to manage app permissions.



This enhancement will be rolled out gradually.

Enhancement Removing Save and Notify option from Save menu

To minimize confusion, we have removed the Save and Notify option from the Save menu. You can still broadcast a notification to users from the Manage > Broadcast Notifications pane. This enhancement will be rolled out gradually.

What’s currently available in the Preview program?

Feature Table view

Table View now supports freezing the first column while scrolling horizontally. For details, see Freezing the first Column of a Table View - in Preview Program.
Feature Chart Editor

App Creators can now make use of our new chart editor and the new and improved charts it can create. Learn more.
Feature Detail views

Rich text formatting is now available in Detail views. For details, see this announcement in the community.

Could you elaborate on this subject with more details? What is the enhancement? I m not following this announcement.

Maybe it means that in order to connect Google Data Studio to an AppSheet app’s data, previously you had to be the AppSheet app’s creator (i.e., the app is in your own AppSheet account), whereas as of this release you can now do that even if you’re only an app editor (i.e., the app is shared from the app creator’s AppSheet account to your AppSheet account for co-authoring)?

That is exactly right! When you share your app with another user as an editor (give them Edit definition permissions), they can now connect to and use Google Data Studio to analyze their AppSheet data.
