Introducing "Cell Saga" – A Wholesale & B2B Ordering App

Hello,

My name is Damien, I’m a data analyst by trade (no coding background, but very comfortable with tables) and have been tinkering away at an app I’ve nicknamed Cell Saga. Like its namesake, this app is in its larvae stage right now, but the long-term vision is for it to grow into a Perfect Cell: a self-sustained alternative to Leaflink and other expensive CRM/ordering platforms.

The foundation comes from reworking Part 7 of the Shopping Cart series – Totals, but I’ve expanded it heavily to function in a wholesale and B2B environment.

This project is still early days — but it’s working! I’d love to connect with anyone here who’s interested in helping customize and level up Cell Saga. If you’ve got experience with inventory workflows, order automation, or AppSheet best practices for B2B systems, your input would be huge.

Drop a comment or DM me if you’re interested in collaborating. Let’s push this larvae stage toward Perfect Cell together.

What’s Next - What i need help with…

  • Figure out how to update inventory automatically when a new order is placed.

  • Add more product categories.

  • Clean up subclass filtering so it works properly.

  • Storing customer info, create user login or user view

  • Exporting Menus

Hello, i wanted to follow up with an update - over the past three months i have been able to build out a full service CRM ,Sales, and Inventory manager.

The app can do it all baby, it can slice it can dice it can even create reports my last jobs paid millions to IT firms to build and get wrong.

Because we physically store bulk product but place orders in both bulk and prepack, i need a way to do that conversion based on case packs and unit sizes. tons of apps do that already but theres small nuanced details such as customer pricing and promo units that always meddle.

I was able to create a dashboard that shows what day an order was placed, when its due, and current status, flower on order by strain, and i can drill down to see which strains are on which orders; this is useful for production.

We also have a live menus that updates as orders are placed, live reports, and emailed daily reports as well. I was even able to get our COAs added to our system automatically.

We are at over 100 orders placed, and over $1M is sales logged.

That being said, i spent so much time on this app, after going back and looking at previous versions i forgot how many work arounds i had to build. The base i worked off of was this one by multitech visions. The problem i originally had was i couldnt get new products to appear under the Customer_Prodcts for current customers, i basically create a new customer each time and just treat it like a order ID.

Can anyone help me figure this out?
