Inquiry About Connection Error Between Looker Studio and Redshift (Error ID: 6e881967)

When trying to connect Looker Studio to Redshift, I encountered the following error message: “An error occurred, and the request could not be completed. Error ID: 6e881967,” and the connection could not be established.

My instance is well reachable through a database client (ex dbeaver), but not with the connector.

I have already allowed connections from the following IP ranges:
142.251.74.0/23
2001:4860:4807::/48
74.125.0.0/16

Could you please help me understand what might be causing this issue?

I’m also in the exact same situation…
The approach is the same, I also tried an SSL connection, but the situation remained the same.

Today, I attempted to connect to Redshift from Looker Studio again, and I was able to establish the connection successfully.

Seems to be a random issue, I’m experiencing the same thing, with Amazon Redshift and AWS RDS (MySQL) as well.

I tried connecting again today without changing anything, and was able to confirm that the connection was successful.

Hi, yes, same happened to me. Tried a few hours later and it worked. It’s a
random behavior.
