Hi,
We recently received a notification that the Imagen 4.0 model endpoints will be deprecated on June 30, 2026, and that we should migrate to Gemini 2.5 Flash Image.
At the moment, we have some clients who require models to be hosted in Canada. As of now, Imagen 4.0 appears to be our only image generation option available in Canada.
Based on the information on this page, it seems that we may be forced to remove image generation entirely for these clients if our understanding is correct.
Are there any plans to make Gemini 2.5 Flash Image available in Canada by the end of June, or are there any alternative Canada-hosted options we should consider?
