I cannot create a new template

Hi everyone, trying to create a new pdf template.

But nothing happened after I clicked ‘Create’.

Last time I remember, a new template path is generated, and we are able to view them.

I’ve noticed this bug yesterday to. You can make the document direct in your drive and upload it at the paper icon

Meanwhile, you could try directly pasting/typing the Drive file’s DocId.

Yes the exact same issue, tried manually entering the docid but did not work.

It doesn’t work either.

Hi all, yes we are aware of this challenge. I made a quick test and I was able to see the same behavior with the Attachment and Email body template when trying to create a new file with the “Create” button. It starts the process but nothing more. When searching and selecting the template file from Drive or manually typing the DocID=.. seems to be working fine, though.

Hi, at this moment it’s difficult to know as the main cause is not known yet. If I would need to guess.. I would say later today. Are you not able to manually create the template?

Correct, i am unable to create a new template manually by clicking Create. The button doesnt work. It just did nothing.

Last week it was the pdf not being able to be opened. Now this issue.

How does AppSheet try to maintain stability and avoid these incidents from happening in the future?

Because these apps are used for big operations and i feel like these hiccups will cost a lot of time, money and confidence to continue using AppSheet.

But does it work if you select the template file directly like from Drive?

Theres no file to begin with.

The old files were generated from other previous creation.

Yes i can view them, but i want to create a new pdf template file.

I cant create a new template.

And even if created a new word doc, use the link to view, it just gives an error. It wont open.

Hope this clears things up.

What provider are you using? Google Drive, OneDrive?

What is the error message when using just a blank template?

One Drive.

Its just a blank page that seems to have stopped loading.

I forced refresh but it was still blank.

This is not a challenge, a critical bug… :sad_but_relieved_face:
