How to use and Deploy APigee Proxy on local Windows System VS Code and Podman Desktop as Docker Desktop is commercial now? I tried setting up vut Apigee Emulator says no Container found /Unable to find newly created container

Hi Everyone,

Docker Desktop is commercial now. So switched to Podman Desktop. VS Code shows container with Container view but Apigee Emulator not able to find running container and even it fails to find newly created container.

Podman Dektop -v5.6.0

vsCode

Windows System

Apigee Emulator used - 1.9.4, 1.10.0, 1.12.0, 1.15.2

Please suggest if there is a way to fix and achieve apigee proxy deployment on local podman desktop container and debug the proxy locally as it was with Docker Desktop.

Note: I have created an alias for Docker to use podman internally.

Thanks

Hi @rshekhar55 - this should be possible, however I don’t have a guide or exact instructions. Just test and see in the logs what might need to be adjusted to get it working..
