How to transfer my app to another domain? (Google Workspace)

I know I can transfer an app between accounts using the process documented here: Transfer an App Between Users or Accounts | AppSheet Help Center

Does this work even if they are accounts from different Google Workspace domains? Is there an easier way the Google Workspace admin can do it?

Google Sheets cannot be transferred between domains, copies can still be made. In that case, how can we go about linking the sources with the copies?

It work with a condition that the new app owner is having access to the data (google sheets, etc). What I did as Google Workspace Admin is to create a Shared Drives where original app owner and the new app owner both having access to the shared drives folder.
