Hey, same problem as before but trying to state it simpler.
When I update a field in a parent table it seems to take between 30s and 1 minute to reflect in the virtual back referred column of the child table. Is there a way to speed this up? What is causing the delay?
Thanks
Hyman
Have you checked what the Perfomance profile detail is showing as the reason?
Hi Aleksi,
It looks like it does an app sync in the background.
Did you investigate what was the main reason for that sync delay? Was there any special virtual column?
Hey Aleksi,
Al I can find is that the delay is caused by an app sync in the background. If I sync the app it also refresh the totals. I didnt know the app syncs automatically in the background. I also dont know what a special virtual column would be and how to identify it.
What I did find out is that it is the back reference from the project tables period or selected virtual transaction column that needs to sync and only updates in the child table after sync.
You can find the main delays from the Performance profile. You can find it from Manage > Monitor > Performance profile > Get performance data and then find the biggest delays from the “Duration” column. Then click the Performance icon and choose “Focus on slow steps”. Then you can drill down as deeper as possible so you can see the main reason.
