Hello,
I am a representative of the openEuler open source community. We maintain our own Linux distribution and would like to make openEuler available as a public OS image on Google Cloud.
Could you please advise on the process and requirements for openEuler to be published as an official (public) OS image on Google Cloud? We truly hope that openEuler can become one of the community-supported OS images listed on Google Cloud.
Hi zhihangdeng,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
As of this moment, there is no official documentation on how to publish as an official (public) OS image on Google Cloud. However, as an alternative approach, you can integrate your container image products on Google Cloud Marketplace. Once your product passes the required assessment, your OS image may be considered for inclusion as a community-supported image.
Here are some helpful reference or guide on using Google Cloud Marketplace:

Hi francislouie,
Thank you for your detailed reply and the helpful resources.
I have two follow-up questions:
1. Regarding Partner Advantage:
I noticed that one of the requirements is that “Your organization must join and maintain good standing in Partner Advantage.” However, as the openEuler community, we do not belong to any enterprise and do not have a corporate account. Is it possible for an open source community like ours to participate in the Partner Advantage program, or is it strictly limited to enterprises?
2. About the image type:
When I mentioned “image,” I was referring specifically to cloud VM images (such as public OS images on Google Cloud), not container images.
Thank you again for your assistance!
