How to preserve format of new row in Google sheet?

Hi experts,

When I use the Add functionality in AppSheet to add a new row in my source Google sheet, the newly added row does not preserve any of the formatting that the sheet has defined. It seems to have a mind of it’s own. Any suggestions?

Are you saying that it populates a new row without copying the formatting from the prior row or that it populates an existing row whose formatting is not retained? If it’s the former, try the latter.

Thanks dbaum. As long as I had one row populated in the sheet with dummy values, new inserted rows picked up the same formatting.
