How to Cancel Free Trial on Google Cloud Platform

Hi everyone,

I recently created a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account using my institutional email under the free trial mode. However, I’ve now received a voucher that I would like to use instead.

Could someone guide me on how to cancel the free trial and remove the associated payment methods so I can utilize the voucher I’ve received?

Hello @Ke16 ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

  1. Log in to your Google Cloud
  2. Go to Billing => Select Billing → Account Management
  3. Click CLOSE BILLING ACCOUNT

  1. You will get text similar to this one

  1. Type “Close” and click CLOSE BILLING ACCOUNT
  2. Then go to Payment method → Find your payment method → Remove

I’m having the same exact issue, but when I click on remove payment method it only will delete it if I add another. I want this not to have my card information anymore, I can’t even delete it from my Google payment account.

i have the same issue, i cant delete my card and i dont have any other credit card, i tried so hard to cantact a support but they dont care about it, google being google, i cant use my google play because of that shit.
