Hi,
The Require_If field is not showing anymore for Virtual Column. Actually the whole Update behavior section is not showing. For non VC is showing. I can click on Require button to toggle ON/OFF but i cannot write an expression.
Is it because of the browser i’m using?
Thank you!
The required field is not needed for VCs because eventually it doesn’t have any affect to that column. That’s true that we should deactive the On/Off button as well.
in some cases i need to force the user to add at least one child record. How to i force him? Is it by default forced?
You can check that your child virtual list is not blank.
I have a similar issue. One of my tables has a ref_rows() VC to child records. Previously I wanted it to be required for there to be at least 1 record, but I no longer want that requirement. The require switch for this VC is set to ON, but it doesn’t react at all when I click on it. Were these require switches recently made un-editable for VCs? This VC would have been created (and set as required) well before this thread was started.
