I received an email about Action Required Mandatory multi-factor authentication for Google Cloud console. I would like to know if I need to set up the MFA while I am using the google drive?
Hi @cfcheung116,
Welcome to the Google Cloud community!
I suggest enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your Google account, as it provides the strongest security. MFA helps protect your identity and ensures your accounts and sensitive information stay safe. While MFA is currently mandatory for accessing the Google Cloud Console, it may not be required for Google Drive unless your organization has set specific security policies. However, enabling MFA across all Google services, including Google Drive, is always a good practice for better security.
